01The Rescreening Cycle

Stop Rescreening After Every Storm

Standard enclosure mesh is a recurring bill. It tears in storms, degrades under UV, and gets replaced with the same material that failed the first time. Rescreening companies count on that cycle.

A Fortress enclosure ends it. The screens are metal, mounted in structural aluminum, and engineered to hold under storm loads instead of tearing away. When the storm passes, your enclosure is still standing and still screened.

One System, Every Outdoor Space

Engineered Structure

Pool Cages

Standard pool cages are engineered for the screens to tear away in high wind. Ours are engineered to hold. Fortress panels paired with thicker structural aluminum framing create a pool enclosure that does not fold, tear, or bend during hurricanes. Includes engineering plans, permits, and coordinated installation.

Everyday Use

Lanai Screens

Keep the breeze, lose the annual repairs. Fortress lanai screens handle afternoon storms and hurricane season alike while blocking insects and reducing solar heat on the space.

Any Shape

Patio and Porch Enclosures

Custom-fit panels for any patio, porch, sunroom, or Florida room opening, any size or shape. Every screen is manufactured to your exact dimensions at our Florida facility.

03Cost Over Time

The Math Favors Metal

Standard Rescreening

Pay again after the next storm

Replaces torn fiberglass mesh with more fiberglass mesh. Cheaper per visit, and it repeats: after the next major storm, after years of UV exposure, after a branch or a pet finds the weak spot.

A Fortress Enclosure

Pay once, then stop paying

Replaces the panels with permanent stainless steel screens rated for Category 5 hurricanes. One installation, backed by a 10-year structural frame warranty. If you plan to be in your home for more than a few seasons, this is the last time you pay to screen the space.

04One Screen. Three Solutions.

More Than Storm Protection

Category 5 Rated

Hurricane Protection

Category 5 rated and always in place. Nothing to deploy, store, or replace before a storm.

Cut-Proof Mesh

Enhanced Security

Cut-proof stainless steel mesh that stops break-in attempts at every screened opening.

Lower Cooling Load

Energy Savings

The mesh blocks solar heat before it reaches your space, reducing cooling costs and UV damage to furnishings. Visibility from inside stays clear, similar to a standard window screen. From outside, the mesh reduces visibility into your space, adding privacy.

07Insurance

Wind Mitigation Credits

Fortress Screens are approved under the Florida Building Code as impact-rated protection. Florida Statute 627.0629 requires insurers to offer premium discounts for impact-rated products. After installation, request a wind mitigation inspection so your insurer can document the protection and apply the appropriate discount. Actual savings vary by insurer, policy, and location.

08Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a Fortress screen enclosure really survive a hurricane?
Yes. Fortress Screens are rated for Category 5 hurricanes and approved under Florida Building Code numbers FL32125.1-R2 / FL32125.2-R2. The stainless steel mesh carries 120,000 lbs of tensile strength. Unlike standard enclosure mesh, it is designed to stay in place under storm loads.
How is this different from rescreening my existing enclosure?
Rescreening replaces torn fiberglass mesh with more fiberglass mesh, which tears again in the next storm. Fortress replaces the panels with permanent stainless steel screens. It costs more up front and ends the replacement cycle.
Can you convert my existing pool cage?
Pool cages require thicker structural aluminum framing to carry Fortress panels in a hurricane, so pool cage projects involve custom engineering, permits, and coordination with a general contractor. We handle that process with you.
Do the screens block my view or airflow?
No. From inside, visibility is similar to a standard window screen, and airflow stays breezy in normal conditions. From outside, the mesh reduces visibility into your space for added privacy.
How much does a screen enclosure cost?
Every project is custom, so pricing depends on the size, shape, and number of openings. Estimates are free, and most residential projects receive a same-day quote after the onsite measurement. Monthly financing is available through our partner Hearth.
Can I pay monthly instead of all at once?
Yes. Financing is available through our partner Hearth with payments as low as $140/month and no loan origination fees. You can pre-qualify online to see your monthly estimate before your quote.
Do Fortress Screens qualify for insurance discounts?
Many customers receive premium discounts after installation. Fortress Screens are approved as impact-rated under the Florida Building Code, and Florida Statute 627.0629 requires insurers to offer discounts for impact-rated products. Ask your insurance provider about wind mitigation credits.
What warranty comes with a Fortress enclosure?
Fortress Screens carry a tiered warranty including 10 years on structural frame integrity and 5 years on the screen and frame attachment system.
Can Fortress Screens be installed on any lanai or patio?
Yes. Every screen is custom manufactured to your exact dimensions, so any size or shape of lanai, patio, porch, sunroom, or Florida room opening can be fitted.

Make your enclosure permanent

One installation. No more storm damage, no more rescreening, no more finding out after the hurricane that your screens are gone.
